Today we recognize Veterans Day to honor all those who have served in our armed forces. We are taking the opportunity to acknowledge our colleagues who have admirably and selflessly served our country. Keep reading to meet a few of them and find out how their military experience shaped who they are today.
Chris expanded on why he thinks Enterprise is a great place for veterans to work:
“Vets like myself look for a company culture with pride, adventure and a winning attitude. All things you can find at Enterprise. Enterprise fosters camaraderie and team spirit in a challenging and rewarding environment, along with autonomy. Of course, you also have opportunities over time to to be promoted and move into different roles within the company. These are things that we enjoy and find rewarding.”
We’re also reflecting on Enterprise founder Jack Taylor’s experience serving as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His service in the Navy was the most formative experience of his life—so much so that he named our company after an aircraft carrier on which he proudly served, the USS Enterprise.
Today, Enterprise Holdings continues to embody the values Jack learned during his time of service: integrity, honest work, team spirit and simply doing the right thing.
On this Veterans Day, please join us in thanking the Enterprise employees who have served or are currently serving in the military and now serve our customers and communities.
