Sustainability and environmental stewardship are important to Enterprise Mobility.


Our Carbon Offset Program provides a solution customers can use to reduce the environmental impact of their car rental activities. Whether renting a car or a fleet, customers can offset greenhouse gas emissions by purchasing carbon offset credits that help generate carbon-free energy and remove carbon gases from the atmosphere through verified decarbonization projects managed by third-party partners.

Program Partners

As the first car rental provider to offer a carbon offset program in 2007, we’re working with partners to implement verified decarbonization projects that align  with industry leading standards in both North America and Europe.

Terrapass
 

We partner with Terrapass in North America to purchase carbon credits that help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by capturing and destroying methane, increasing carbon capture and storage and using renewable energy to displace traditional fossil-fueled energy.

In Europe, we partner with Climate Impact Partners to invest in forest protection, the distribution of clean cookstoves to reduce fuelwood, implementation of reliable solar power and energy efficiency projects in Africa and India.
