As the third generation of Taylor family leadership, Chrissy Taylor rose through the ranks to hold 17 different positions before being elevated to her current role as president & CEO in 2020. Her two previous positions were as executive vice president & chief operating officer from 2016-19 and president & COO from 2019-20.
After originally joining the organization as a management trainee in 2000, her early highlights include developing Enterprise Mobility’s consumer rental market in Europe (2006-08), the financial restructuring of Fleet Management (2008-11), managing the Car Sales business (2011-13) and overseeing North American operations (2013-16).
Taylor continues to foster the promote-from-within culture that has enriched her own professional career as more than 20,000 employees were elevated in fiscal year 2023. She has worked to advance the adoption of new technologies and product capabilities in recent years, exploring new avenues to optimize the business and drive future ambitions within mobility.
Taylor has been recognized by several industry media outlets and organizations. In 2022, she was selected by Cox Automotive for the Barbara Cox Woman of the Year award. In 2021, she was recognized by Women Leading Travel & Hospitality to a list of top women executives in the travel and hospitality industry. That same year, she was honored by the Global Business Travel Association with the Woman of Influence award. And in 2020, Taylor was cited by Automotive News as one of 100 women leading the North American Auto Industry.
Taylor serves several organizations both nationally and locally, including the Business Roundtable and U.S. Travel Association. She is a board and/or committee member for Commerce Bancshares, the Crawford Taylor Group and Crawford Taylor Foundation, among others. Taylor also continues to make history in her hometown as part of the first majority female-owned club in Major League Soccer (MLS) history: St. Louis CITY SC.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Miami University, where she was an All-American field hockey player, and master’s in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
