Enterprise Mobility is continuing to grow and invest in the Southwest region of the United Kingdom with the opening of its newest Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch in St Austell, Cornwall.
The new facility, located on Eliot Road, is the latest addition in a programme of significant investment in the region over the past 18 months, which has been in response to rising customer demand and evolving transport needs.
The new branch joins an already substantial network of other Enterprise Mobility locations in Bodmin, Truro, Penryn and Penzance, as well as a recently opened branch at Cornwall Airport, Newquay.
"Cornwall is a unique location for Enterprise Mobility due to its blend of residents, businesses, tourists and visitors who all need access to cars and vans for a range of different activities across an extended geography, which combines dense urban areas and more remote rural areas," said Brian Swallow, vice president & general manager for Enterprise Mobility in the Southwest.
"Our focus is on how we can best support the communities that we serve by extending our network and offering more options to make it easier for people and businesses to access the mobility they need, when they need it.
"We are delighted to be investing in this vibrant and historic community and helping to be a part of its future prosperity and success."
Enterprise Mobility’s expanded network in Cornwall offers more choice for tourists, residents and businesses hiring vehicles and better support and access for customers requiring replacement vehicles or Enterprise Car Club vehicles in the area.
The recent branch openings in Cornwall are part of Enterprise Mobility’s ongoing commitment to providing more choice in how people travel, and better access to the right type of vehicle as and when they are needed, whether that is by the day or by the hour.
The two new branches in St Austell and at Cornwall Airport have created eight new jobs in the area, including four graduate roles on Enterprise Mobility’s award-winning Management Training Programme.
Additionally, Enterprise Car Club provides greater flexibility and choice for people who don’t own a vehicle and want to rent a vehicle through membership. Vehicles can be rented 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Enterprise Car Club can also be used by businesses to help decrease company travel expenses and improve urban mobility.
"As a newly formed company, it can be challenging to establish new accounts with service providers that ensure smooth business operations," said Chris Nutbeem of Artemyn Minerals Ltd. "Being a global business based in Cornwall, finding a reliable car rental partner was a high priority for us.
"Enterprise Mobility’s straightforward and flexible approach to business contracts, along with its investment in local infrastructure, especially the St Austell branch, has truly made a difference in our first few months of operation."
