Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Committed to Supporting Everyone

Throughout its history, Enterprise Mobility has been committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive (DEI) work environment – rooted in the founding value “our doors are open.”

The commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is embraced throughout the organization and driven by our team members who work in an environment where they are encouraged to bring their true self to work every day.

Our Curriculum & Foundational Pillars

No two people share the same combination of background, culture or abilities. We harness those unique perspectives to create robust dialogue, which brings about powerful ideas, solutions and a sense of connection to our mission and purpose. We educate all team members through a DEI curriculum that empowers them to share their experiences and backgrounds so others can learn, grow and expand their understanding of the lived experiences of others.

When creating solutions that bring about real change, we know it’s important to draw perspectives from every level of the organization. This is accomplished through our global DEI council structure, which ensures vertical and horizontal integration across our operations, strategies, mission and objectives. Its multi-dimensional membership encompasses a diversity of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age and work experience.

Guiding the DEI councils are three foundational pillars – talent and opportunity, inclusive culture and community engagement – which the teams seek to address in order to remove barriers that could limit our ability for true diversity, equity and inclusion.

Serving Our Communities

Enterprise Mobility is also committed to being an integrated part of the communities we serve as stated in one of our founding values – We strengthen our communities, one neighborhood at a time. Our dedication to this founding value is further displayed by our global program, My Purpose. My Time., which provides team members with paid time off to personally volunteer and serve local community causes that are most important to them.

In addition, teams participate in various volunteering events, stepping up to help their community when it’s needed the most. We also develop diverse supplier relationships with minority, woman, veteran and LGBTQ-owned businesses in the areas we operate.

Making an Impact by Giving Back

Through the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, the organization continues to elevate the focus on creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world through its ROAD Forward program. The initiative, which was launched in 2020, allocates $35 million over five years to 70-plus global operating teams. The local grant program empowers our 90,000+ team members to work on identifying social and racial equity issues in their communities and the local organizations best equipped to address them.

In addition to $35 million in local-market grants, the commitment includes $20 million across four renowned nonprofit organizations – The Obama Foundation’s My Brother’s Keeper Alliance, UNCF (United Negro College Fund), Girls Inc. and Parents as Teachers – to support young people in underserved communities.

At Enterprise Mobility, we look forward to building on our longstanding and passionate commitment to creating real and lasting change throughout the organization and in the communities where we live and work.
